Brie with Pecan and Dried Fruit Glaze
Easy and impressive!
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Yield: 1 brie
1 cup Karo® Light Corn Syrup
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 tablespoon dark rum (optional)
1 cup dried fruit, diced (apricots, dates, cranberries, cherries, golden raisins, and brown raisins)
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1 large (15 ounces) Brie cheese round
Stir corn syrup, vanilla, rum, dried fruit and pecans in small saucepan over medium heat for 2 to 3 minutes until bubbling and thickened. Remove from heat; cool to room temperature. (Can be made ahead and refrigerated. Warm slightly to serve.)
Pour glaze over Brie round. Serve with crackers and bread slices.
