Pecan Dessert Sauce
Just like liquid pecan pie!
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 10 minutes
Yield: 1 -1/2 cups
3 tablespoons butter
3/4 cup Karo® Light OR Dark Corn Syrup
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 cup chopped pecans, toasted
1/3 cup evaporated milk
1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Melt butter in a medium skillet over medium heat. Add corn syrup and brown sugar; bring to boil, stirring frequently.
Add pecans to skillet. Bring to boil again, stirring frequently; boil 1 minute. Remove from heat; stir in evaporated milk and vanilla.
Serve warm over ice cream or cake. Store in tightly covered container in refrigerator.
