Pecan Dessert Sauce

Just like liquid pecan pie!

  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3/4 cup Karo┬« Light OR Dark Corn Syrup
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 cup chopped pecans, toasted
  • 1/3 cup evaporated milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract


  1. Melt butter in a medium skillet over medium heat. Add corn syrup and brown sugar; bring to boil, stirring frequently.
  2. Add pecans to skillet. Bring to boil again, stirring frequently; boil 1 minute. Remove from heat; stir in evaporated milk and vanilla.
  3. Serve warm over ice cream or cake. Store in tightly covered container in refrigerator.
