- 1/2 cup butter OR margarine
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/3 cup KaroŽ Dark Corn Syrup
- 2 eggs
- 2 squares (1 ounce each) unsweetened chocolate, melted
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 2/3 cup flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt

- Preheat oven to 350˚F.
- Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add vanilla and corn syrup; blend thoroughly. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in melted chocolate and walnuts. Fold in flour and salt.
- Pour into a greased 8-inch square pan. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes or until edges begin to pull away from the pan. When cool, cut into squares.
