- BROWNIES:
- 1/2 cup Karo® Light OR Dark Corn Syrup
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter OR margarine
- 5 ounces semisweet baking chocolate
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 teaspoon Spice Islands® Pure Vanilla Extract
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- CHOCOLATE GLAZE:
- 3 ounces semisweet baking chocolate
- 1 tablespoon butter OR margarine
- 2 tablespoons Karo® Light OR Dark Corn Syrup
- 1 teaspoon milk

- Preheat oven to 350ºF. Grease and flour an 8-inch square pan.
- Bring corn syrup and butter to boil in a large saucepan over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat. Add chocolate; stir until melted. Add sugar; stir in eggs one at a time, then vanilla, flour and nuts. Pour into prepared pan.
- Bake 40 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool on wire rack 10 minutes. Remove from pan; cool completely.
- To prepare CHOCOLATE GLAZE: Melt chocolate and butter in small saucepan over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in corn syrup and milk, beating until smooth. Pour over brownies and let stand 1 hour.
