Pecan Dessert Sauce

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3/4 cup Karo® Light OR Dark Corn Syrup
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 cup chopped pecans toasted
  • 1/3 cup evaporated milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Directions

  • Melt butter in a medium skillet over medium heat. Add corn syrup and brown sugar; bring to boil, stirring frequently.
  • Add pecans to skillet. Bring to boil again, stirring frequently; boil 1 minute. Remove from heat; stir in evaporated milk and vanilla.
  • Serve warm over ice cream or cake. Store in tightly covered container in refrigerator.
