Apricot Ginger Barbecue Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 cup apricot nectar
  • 3/4 cup Karo® Dark Corn Syrup
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons ground ginger
  • 2 to drops hot pepper sauce

Directions

  1. Combine nectar, corn syrup, soy sauce, ginger, and pepper sauce in a 2-quart saucepan. Bring to boil over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally.
  2. Reduce heat until just boiling; cook for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until mixture is almost reduced by one half (about 1 cup sauce should remain). Cool.
  3. Brush sauce on chicken, pork chops or ribs during last 5 to 10 minutes of grilling, turning frequently.
