Oatmeal Walnut Pie

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup Karo® Dark Corn Syrup
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 2/3 cup quick-cooking oats
  • 1-1/2 cups Fisher® Chopped Walnuts OR Fisher® Chopped Pecans
  • 1 (-inch) unbaked deep dish pie crust
  • Whipped cream for garnish, if desired

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Combine corn syrup, sugar, butter, vanilla, salt, and eggs in a large bowl; beat well.
  3. Stir in oatmeal and walnuts. Pour filling into an unbaked pie shell.
  4. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until center is firm. When the pie has cooled, garnish with whipped cream, if desired.
